Over the past few years, the Gallery has been fortunate to receive a number of important gifts to the permanent collection from long-time supporters Patricia Bosshard Browne and Kobi Bosshard. Several donated works were gifted to the couple by the artists themselves, and represent close personal friendships over a long period of time.

This exhibition celebrates and showcases works from this significant gift and focuses on artists who have worked primarily on the east coast of Te Waipounamu (hence the exhibition title). The show will include works by Ralph Hotere, Jeffrey Harris, Denise Copland, Philip Trusttum, Johanna Margaret Paul, Russell Moses and James Robinson, to name a few.
