The Tapestry Trust

A History in Stitch
1 – 23 June 2019

A History in Stitch is a project initiated and developed by The Tapestry Trust of New Zealand to stitch a series of panels depicting the history of Aotearoa New Zealand.

With the support of the Association of Embroiderers’ Guilds (ANZEG), many of whom are giving their time to this long-term project, they are creating a series of stitched panels to be available for display around the country. This exhibition presents a selection of the finished panels including one from Southland.
